Large mango wood backflow burner — Hamsa hand

A burner shaped to take backflow cones: the smoke runs down the relief and spreads in a sheet across the base.

Where the motif comes from. The open hand — khamsa to some, hamsa to others — is a protective motif shared by the southern and northern shores of the Mediterranean.

In practice. To be used with backflow cones only, on a stable surface and away from draughts. Clean dry; smoke residue lifts off with a soft brush.
