Red mini singing bowl set

✦ Red mini singing bowl set ✦

A little red mini bowl, with its mallet. ❤️

A hand-hammered and engraved bowl, supplied with its mallet and cushion; the hammering gives the metal its tone and its long tail of sound. The engraving and the hammering vary from one bowl to the next, and with them the tone.

🌿 Tradition and wellness: the singing bowl comes from the Himalayan tradition and accompanies Buddhist meditation; many people use it to mark the beginning and end of a quiet moment, or to slow down before sitting. A prompt to pause, not a treatment.

Who is it for, and when? For a bedside table, a desk, or as a small gift that fits in one hand.

✨ Strike once. Let the sound die on its own.

How to use it. The note rises by rubbing the rim slowly with the mallet; a clean tone comes from a gentle tap on the wall. Held flat on the palm, the bowl rings longer. Avoid water in an engraved bowl — a dry cloth handles fingerprints.

• Finish: small

A decorative object for personal practice. It is no substitute for medical advice or treatment.
