Masala backflow incense — Palo santo

A South American wood with a sweet smoke, between candied lemon, vanilla and pine resin.

Cones pierced at the base: the smoke, denser and cooler than air, falls in a cascade instead of rising.

When to burn it. Used for smudging in the Andes; it is burned in short touches, a few seconds are enough.

Use & care. To be used on a backflow burner only, away from draughts — a single breath breaks the cascade. Never leave unattended; keep out of reach of children and animals.
