A hand-hammered and engraved bowl, supplied with its mallet and cushion; the hammering gives the metal its tone and its long tail of sound.
The motif. The flower of life overlays nineteen circles in a perfect grid. It is found carved at Abydos as well as in Leonardo da Vinci's notebooks.

Use & care. Rub the rim slowly with the mallet to bring the note up, or strike the wall gently for a clean tone. A bowl held flat on the palm rings longer. Do not fill with water if the bowl is engraved; wipe fingerprints with a dry cloth.
